I havent heard of anything like this being done, but why dont Ford make another Mach 1? I mean now that we have done away with the 2v GT's and now they come with 300hp 3v's, why not build a 5.0 or 5.4 Mach 1 just with the new body style. I think either a 5.0 or 5.4 Mach 1 with a DOHC v8 or pushrod v8 can make 350-400hp N/A from the factory. Something like this would be awesome. And if something like this were to happen, I would start saving now so I can trade in my 01 GT when it came out. Anyone else think this would be a good idea or no?

I would like to see the return for the Mach 1 too.
They are currently focusing on other special editions like the Shelby GT & Shelby GT 500.
There are even rumors of a new Boss in the works.
I would like to see a 2v V8 LX in the line up and drop the v6 but you know that wont happen

yeah dude a new mach 1 would be SWEEEEET! but i think they'll come out with tht new BOSS before the mach 1.

isnt the boss the orange stang with the side lovers and all on it. if so i got one chillin in the lot down the street from me. the one im talkin about is the one on mm and ff cover of last month. it says 302 right on the side of it.

theyre magnets...i talked to a guy who works for ford, he said that the new Boss 302 might have a ohc 302. i think thats pretty cool, because ford will try the motor out in the Boss, if it does good, then theyll put it in the GTs.....i think itll replace the 281

i asked that same guy a question about the bullit, he said that Ford vowed not to make another Bullit after the New Edge one.
