Has anybody heard/seen this intake manifold?

RE: Has anybody heard/seen this intake manifold?
That is a GREAT intake IF you have a forged motor with cams that can spin up to 7500ish rpm. Just one glance at the runners on that thing will tell you that your low rpms will suffer drastically. That is pretty much "Race" intake for cars with steep gears, forged motors, and lots of power that love the high rpms....not good for a street car.

exactly. My car will have close to 500 rwhp when I'm done and I'm sticking with the tried and true PI intake.

I don't need to port it and I don't need any boost to get close to 500rwhp. Like I said I have know people that have lost power with the RR intake. Not that it's not a good piece, it is, just not for 90% of the people. Look on the dyno graph, most of the gain was at 6500+ rpm. And as the ad states UP TO. Hell you can by diet pills that state you will loose up to 50 #'s in a month, will you...no. You will not loose more than 50#'s so that makes it up to.

you cant port that intake though, and it wont hold boost as well as an aluminum intake will...and you can port aluminum

its like all the other intake manifolds. you will get thoes gains on a 2v if you have a built motor that can get into higher RPMs unlike a stock 2v. also if you are blown you will see thoes very high mod numbers. but on a stock 2v its not really worth it. but their tech info is correct, they are just playing the game of marketing.

I didn't say anything about NA. My old setup which was a stock longblock with no bolt ons made almost 400 rwhp and 550 rwtq. My new setup is NOT EVEN CLOSE TO STOCK. BTW Mitch and I have almost identical setups.

Can I ask how you're planning to make anywhere near 500 horsepower at the wheels without some kind of forced induction? I think Code is the king of N/A power, and he's only at 340 or something like that.
