Clutch Install Problems, HELP!!
Well we haven't actually got to doing the clutch itself but we've got everything but the 2 bolts at the top of the transmission. Is there anyway to get to them? If anybody has ever done this before I'd really appreciate any and all help! I have a guy helping me that used to be a mechanic and we've tried quite a few things but nothing worked. Help me out guys! BTW a spec stage II is going in.

I took the crossmember out and put a jack under the tranny mount. Then let the back of the tranny sag down lettin it tilt the motor back with it. Then you should be able to put some extensions together with a swivel and get to them.

yea get a REALLY long extention... lol the one i used was like 3 ft long, unbolt the cross memeber and from the front have your friend push on the motor, it will rock backwards more and you will be able to get it, once you get the first the second will be easy..

Another to do this, it may be a little more work, but you will be able to stick a socket on there and make sure it's on there. You can pull the take manifold off, you may have to loosen the two motor mount bolts, then jack up on the end of the transmission(way pointing towards the rear) and you should be able to get to those two bolts from under the engine bay up top.
