Default Tire Question

OK so I just bought this 1997 Cobra. I am really enjoying it. However, the car came with new tires on it (horray!), only the guy put 245/45 on the front and 255/40 on the back .So my back tires although wider, they are shorter by about 1 cm, which doesnt sound like much but you can actually notice the difference by looking at them. So what do you guys think I should do?
- Buy a new set of rears (Sucks to buy tires for a car that has new tires)
- Buy a new set of fronts (Sucks to buy tires for a car that has new tires)
- Rotate the fronts to the rear and vice versa (wider in the front???)
- Do nothing and just let it ride

Thanks guys[/align]

I had the same exact size's on my car, just cause I was able to get the 255's real cheap, I know what you mean they look so small and the fender gap is huge. I reccomend getting 275/40's for the rear, thats what I have now and they look and perform awesome!!!!!!

Its really a choice of how much you want to spend 245's are stock and if you are staying with stock size width in the back dont go over 275's.

yea i definetly dont want to put anything bigger than 245 in the front. So i might just keep the fronts on there 245/45, and get matching 275/40 for the back. I have a set of cobra-r rims so I am guess thing they should be able to take the 275's ok.

id let it ride because there are better places for ur money to go when you have new tires...or you could abuse the sh*t outa these and wear em out sooner
