I dont know a how bunch about turbos but sounds like a possible boost leak somewhere. Was the turbo new when you put it on. Maybe it is spooling up but is not strong enough to carry that boost all the way to the engine. How much boost are you trying to run?

Either a leak or more likely the waste gate pressure feed line is connected to the wrong area. Make sure it is connected to the intake after the throttle body. If its spinning you will see some sort of boost unless the waste gates are open. Also dont go reving to the moon as if it is an open gate you could over spin the shaft in the turbo and ruin the bushings and shaft. It will boost I promise.

I would say a boost leak especially with rear-mounts, I dont know if the pipes are v-band or not but check it out and then def. check the wastegate if the pressure line isnt connected correctly, like yotee said it will not work properly, all the boost will be lost right there.

Check and make sure there are no leaks. How are the pipes connected? one fit overanother with large clamps, or are they welded?

Also check your waste gate.. My buddy had this problem on his 240.. his waste gate was stuck open.. he wasnt getting any boost to the motor but the MAF was reading the extra air and dumping tons of fuel.. it ran like crap.

it will just sound like air... you probably will not be able to hear it.... If it was going through your BOV you would hear that...
