change your fuel filter/air filter and that should help out a lot.

The best i've gotten with my 2000 GT is 27MPG, my uncle with his 2001 SVT got 29MPG on a tank, but this is also primarly highway.

while we do not care about MPG. we do have these competitions on who can get the best milage. The cars in my famiily include my 2000 GT Conv. My uncle's 1970 302 BOSS, 1985 GT, and 2001 SVT. My cousin's 2001 GT. My other cousin's 1972 Torino Sport, and 1971 429 BOSS. The last is still a project yet to be completed. [sm=smiley17.gif]

it's not hard to get crazy mileage out of a new edge GT. i was getting 23MPH with my blown GT. i get about 20-21MPG highway with the new motor.

I thought the 351 was the only BOSS in 71, and the 429 was in 69. Anyway I guess i better contibute to the topic. My mom got like 25 highway on my 99 GT Auto, and I average 16-17 city on my 01 5spd.
