i raced this guy with a 92 5.0 dam all he claims he had was 2 chambered muffflers or something like that with and o/r x 5 spd
mine
373 gears
auto
c&l mass air meter with k&n air filter
o/r h and 40 series
what do i need to beat him we took off from like 15 or so and he took me till like 70 75 then i start realling him in at 90 he was gone

Are you sure he didn't have gears in his.. Maybe 4.10's or 4.30's?

he says he didnt but when he pulled it didnt pull like it was stock i was shocked cuz usually i like racing 50 but that one was quick so now my goal is to fix my ride

Hmm, he must have been good with a stick then.. Have you thought about putting in 4.10's or 4.30's in yours? Did you buy your car with the 3.73's in it or did you have them put in?

i let my bro use it for my b day last yr n he put them on 373

Well I know you deff had to tell the difference when you got it back going from 3.27's to 3.73's on take off. If you are wanting to beat this guy from a 15 mph start you will have to up your gearing. (Cheapest way) that is. Living in California ( I live in Sac) I know you live in Modesto and I saw AM/PM gas was 3.27 here today for 87 octane.. Gearing will deff help you win but you will be at the gas station a little more than now.. If you look at my 01 GT in my gallery I put 4.30's in it. The gas mileage went down a little but I had some mean power. It was like a limp dog with the 3.27's in it. Its a auto just like you have. Might want to think about throwing in some 4.10's.

Yeah I went to Sac Raceway but never tested it with my car.. Just watched my friends. I was dumb not to get it timed.. [>:]
