Default Assistance needed...

Friday, my car throws a CEL and the code was P0153, O2 sensor circuit slow response, bank 2, number 1. I cleared it and it keeps coming back after a day or so. I checked for exhaust leaks, loose connections, etc and there were none. Should I just go out and buy a new O2 sensor, and if so, is there any particular brands to get? Also how much do they cost?

www.oxygensensors.com got mine there cheap. Denso or Walker and paid $75 for the pair when they usually run $70 a pop

I have the same code. From what i've seen on other posts, it's because of the longtubes (assuming you have them). It takes longer for the 02 sensors to heat up andharder forthem to stay at operating temp, which is what makes the code pop up. It seems that the only way around this is to get a tuner to delay the computerwhen it is checking the 02 sensors at start up.

Yeah I noticed that after I got my LTs installed. I will have the car running for a good 2 mins or so and P1151 (low voltage to the bank 2 O2 sensor) will pop up. After some time of driving it will go away. I am gonna check and see if the O2 extender popped out. Check for that first assuming you have LTs?

Oh yeah and when my front O2s went bad I got some Bosch's from Pep Boys and they were 80 for the pair.
