i found this mustang shop called trick pro that said it would run $600 to buy FRPP gears through them and install them... I thought that seemed a little high but i dunno... what do u guys think?

its a little high, shouldnt run more then $400.. $200gears and $200 install

ask him how much of that is labor and how much is parts... the parts should not be more than 150 to buy, install hardware + oil and everything you need can be bought at 50resto for a little over 200.. so see how much is labor and we'll know if its a ripoff

he said that if i brought him the gears and an install kit it would take off 200 cause he doesnt like to install other peoples parts and it doesnt come with a speedo recal. anyone know any place around cocoa beach, Flarea that will do it?

with a speedo recal 500 would be on the higher end range of what I would pay... keep looking around, maybe check a place out thats a little farther away, so you can do a little breaking in of the gears on your way home.
