Default Help with exhaust

Hey guys, I am the proud owner of a 2004 4.6L GT. I have flowmasters installed on it right now, but they are not giving me the sound I want. Does anyone have a suggestion for a exhaust system that sounds flat out mean? I want to turn heads with out even having to rev my engine. Any other modifications that people think would be beneficial would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the help.

I'd keep what you have and get an O/R H pipe.

Look into getting an off road x or h pipe before you change out your catback. The mid pipe will do wonders for your sound and a bit for performance too. Go to mustangexhaust.com or streetfire.net and do a "mustang flowmaster" search to check out flowmasters with different midpipes.

Ya get an offroad midpipe (X, H, Or prochamber) and it will open it up alot more. And if that still does not make you happy then start looking into a different cat back!

yes and yes. If you have emissions testing where you live, I'd suggest getting a catted x or h pipe. It won't be nearly as loud but you'll be legal and it will still sound much better. The install is pretty straightforward and shouldn't cost much at all to have done. You could do it yourself with some common tools and a little time.

If I remove my converters is there a way from keeping my computer from going crazy since the sensors will be removed?

You can get MIL eliminators or make some yourself which trick the computer into thinking there are cats basically OR you can get a $400 tuner and turn off the rear O2 sensors manually
