Default M/T slicks

Are 28 x 10.5 slicks to big for my 96 mustang. I could get a good deal on them. I thought they would slow down my car.

I don't think you have near enough power for 28's

yes it's too big. Code and I can get away with 28's but we are making more power.

Get some d/r's. You're gonna break something. The MT d/r's give 4 second 1/8th mile cars plenty of traction. They will definately give youthe traction you're looking for.

Agreed. I have the MT ET Street Radials(stiff sidewall) in a 275/40/17, and they are great. My suspension is limiting me to mid 1.7 60ft's. Not too shabby.

An ET Drag(full slick) would be wayyy too much for a mid 9sec 1/8 mile car.

Hey code and 01GT4.6, do you think a 28in tire would help me any? I'm running 470+rwhp/550+rwtq with 4.10 gears. What would it do differently than a 26?
