Default Realistic?

I currently have a 99 gt. I am looking at buying a mmr 5.0 stroker shortblock and stage 3 patriot heads. Additionally I was looking at a procharger d-1sc w/ intercooler. A typhoon intake, and of course supporting mods such as new tranny, axles, rear end etc. Now my plan is to buy the block this summer, and tranny possibly a tko-500 or another top end 5 speed tranny. Over the next year I will buy the heads and sc (sooner if my wife lets me). However my dilema is: will I get some serious hp out of this setup? With all the cash wrapped up in this, would I be better off saving up and buying a cobra? Any ideas or suggestions? Im looking for 650rwhp as Im estimating with the right suspension setup that I should be able to keep up with most production cars, z06 vettes and vipers included. Labor will be relatively cheap as I have a couple friends who could do most of the work. Sorry to ramble so much, but what do you guys think? is 650rwhp feasible?
