okay guys. I need help spending some money here. I'm wanting to spend about 800 max.I'm trying to decide on either buying the shaker kit for my gt or just painting the raised part of my hood like a flatblack. Of course, painting it will save me some money. If i decide to paint it i'm gonna use the extra money to get a roll bar to go with it.Here's a couple links to show you what i'm thinking. Also, if i decide on the shaker kit i will eventually buy a factory mach 1 hood to go with it. Man i love that shaker!

Shakers IMO are a waste.... but hell they look nice!

You want Speed and Power???? Or the awsome look factor?

well i'm kinda shooting for looks right now. there's not a track for about 150 miles and i dont really race much. Much, i said .

If you are going for the awesome look factor, go with the shaker. What performance mods do you have done? I would do that first and looks later but that's just me.

i've got intake, pulleys, springs, shift kit, o/r x-pipe, gutted cats, 40 series flows, and.....i think that's it.

If your going for looks IMO...... Do at least all the bolt ons, and add a shot of giggle gas. That way you'll have a bad *** car that is not only good for looks, but for stomping some ***... lol

If you want some looks I would go with the paint job just to save some money for something else. How much is the paint job gonna cost? And if theres money left, I would buy some 4.10 gears.
