What nobody likes BBK. I like mine alot. Just make sure you tighten them after you drive a few hundred miles. You could loose a few nuts from the headers. (whoops)

ok so if i wait and go with a different brand will it still work if i order headers for a 03 instead of an 04 cuz most of the brands that i have seen only list 96-03?
Nope most reputable brands list 99-04 like they are suppose too. You will be fine. MAC, BBK, SLP are the big ones.

I have BBK also. Great set of headers for a great price. And I got the Stage 8 Bolts, so I can't say I have that problem [8D]

I just wanted to advertise the extremes. BBK, I've found out (the hard way), is a pretty good brand header. I just haven't found a set with a 3" collector.

Save a little bit more money and buy a more reputable brand. IMHO, I would run away from flowtech...

You have plenty of very good options, I wouldn't cheap out here. Don't rush into things.
Have you ever used flowtech headers?
Have you heard the stories? I mean no I haven't and I could keep my mouth shut, but I am trying to look out for a fellow member. You get what you pay for and personally for something like headers, which is considered a "higher" performance part for a car... I wouldn't spend $200 on them. Plus compared to other brands, there results are far from proven.
They are exactly that, STORIES. Dont give advice if you dont have any first hand experience on this. I remember seeing a post about MAC LT causing an engine to burn oil, and its all a bunch of bs. Don't believe all the stories you hear. Have you seen dyno sheets for all the brands? I havent. So i dont know how you can say that they are subpar on performance. I will admit i am a bit skeptical on the price too, but I am a college student and cant afford to pay $500 for a set of headers. I will be installin mine in about a week or 2 so i will let you know. To the OP if you have any questions about Flowtechs in the next couple weeks shoot me a pm. I got a set of longtubes and the O/R X pipe and all the hardware for just a little over 300, and its all new. I just couldnt pass that price up.
