This has to do with the good old P1443 code.

Purge sensor or Canister Purge valve? Also, is the purge sensor the same as the purge solenoid? I think people have been confusing the two, and I am trying to find out which to change.

One I can see is right under the strut tower brace. It is plastic and back and it has two hose fittings that are aligned. And the electrical connection comes in from the side (parallel with the hose fittings).

The other which I cant find on the car (but I have seen pictures of), looks like it is made of metal. It has two hose fittings that are not aligned (one is slightly higher than the other), and the electrical connection comes from underneth.

I know this question is rediculously old, but I would really appreciate a definitive answer if someone out there has one. Thanks guys.[/align]

I replaced the purge valve which is that black plastic one when I got that code... the code came back a day later though..

So if that is the purge valve, where is the purge flow sensor? Is it between the valve and the intake?
Do you know if the purge valve is the same thing as the purge solenoid?

This one... I replaced everything in mine when I had the code... First 2 were the carbon canister and the other one that you are talking about... Cleared the code, and driving down the road, came back on...
Went and picked this up, cleared the code...
