Long Tubes Install on my 04 GT... PICS FTW!
I figured a few of you guys might like this... i lurk on here from time to time but as my first post here ya go!
well i decided that i wanted longtubes and this is what i ended up buying
BBK Ceramic Coated LT's and BBK H-pipe
and here is the install, it took way too long since i had never done anything this extreme before, and i was still tired from beign at the dragstrip the night before... but having eaten a single hotdog the night before and not getting any food or drinks... it took from 10am-5:30pm or so...

i see the pics just fine? looks good man, where did you do it at an airplane hanger lol? how hard was it to do i was thinking about getting bbk/how does it sound

yeah, it was a PITA, took about 8hrs... had to drop the k-member and there are a few bolts that are really hard to get to...
i like the setup so far, everyone seems to think its very similar to my previous setup which had stock manifolds with an offroad prochamber and weld in flows. i still have the flows on the car but now as you can see its the BBK LT's and H.

yeah, right now there are a few leaks but as with any exhaust you will have a few leaks the first time unless you go "ape" on the bolts... in a week or so were gonna crank back down on them as everything needs to heatcycle a few times to sit in place right...
other than the EGR tube not fitting perfect, we had no problems doing the install... car runs like a raped ape too.

Oh i really didnt know that there are leaks with all installs cause i hear people complaining about MAC's leaking. and wow a ur car runs like an ape lol? Does it sounds raspy like u running cams?

what do you mean raspy like im running cams? a set of cams wont make it raspy, but everyone says its deeper at idle and sounds more "raw" when im in the gas some... i think it sounds insane at WOT... ill have a video up one of these days...
the macs leak because of a crappy flange design, mine leak because we were tired and hungry and didnt tighten them down hardcore lol
