Default Shaker conversion???

Ok ive really been thinking about this lately and i was wondering how hard it would be to do.. and if they make a kit for it. i think it would look really good on my car. my stuff should be in by the weekend which included mac lt headers, head/taillight tint, bumper inserts, tinted window(as soon as i get time), 3 piece billet grill set, h&r super sport springs, and within 2 or 3 weeks my new wheels black 17x10.5 and 17x9 bullitts.. any thoughts on if it would look weird? or good? also and info on this hood conversion. thanks

It can be done, I've seen kits out there. However I highly suggest spending your money on other ventures. There will be no real noticeable power gains and for the cost of the system, new hood and paint, your looking at over a grand easy. Plus it would look retarded in that you don't have a Mach 1... it would look as retarded at the 2005 V6's with racing stripes..

It won't look look retarded at all, and you dont have to buy a new hood. Just cut a hole in your existing hood for the shaker.

Lol, not everyone does it East County style with a Sawzall and grinder. For it to fit and look semi right, a new hood is the way to go.

I met a guy at a show that had an 05 and did the shaker kit himself on his. They had a kit for it and he just had to cut the hole and all that. It looked awesome on his car and fit really well. He said it wasn't very hard either...

I love the sotck GT hood and front bumper so I can look like the rest of the 4,000,000 GT's in the world. Making a car your own is a hell of a lot funner than having the same one as everyone else.

And make sure you add stickers to your hood indicating the changes you've made so everyone knows.
