Guys with autos and tuners...
what do you guys set your shift pressure at? also where do you set your shift points? i have the dyno sheet in front of me, i have it shift right after i make the peak RWHP right?.....i have the diablo tuner

I have an 02gt auto and the diablo tuner also. I kept my shift points the same because after so many rpm you lose power anyways. I put my shift firmness all the way up to the max (firm) and and changed the torque modulations to off. My car now shifts really hard--too hard sometimes and sends me fishtailing if i'm not on a straight away. I am a little cautious though because i've heard that this can blow out your tranny.

what do you expect.. faster shifts = higher pressure. only time you should set it to firm is if you installed a jmod, shift kit, transmission cooler (WHICH IS NECESSARY NO MATTER WHAT) or a built tranny. the tranny cooler is mandatory unless u wanna replace it every 50,000 miles because you decided to increase pressure on a stock aode
