Ive got the Steeda tri-ax and im one of those that are against it. I didn't notice a difference. Matter of fact it made my shifting more stiff thats why im willing to try out the MGW that the majority of this forum is talking about. The 5.0 shifter, i have no idea.
How noisey is the Tri-Ax? Did you notice a difference between it and OEM as far as sound goes. Did your shifts even get shorter? I noticed a HUGE difference between my OEM and MGW.
The throw was a little shorter but I have to muscle f**k everything into gear.
