Default S281 Spoiler on 99 GT install question...

I picked up the 1 piece S281 spoiler from Saleen for my car to replace the stock wing. My 3rd brake light was also cracked so I thought this would cover that since it came with a new brake light built into the spoiler.

Today I got a call from my bodyshop and they said that the wing does not cover the existing 3rd brake light fully. Does anyone have experience installing this? Does something need to be installed to cover the factory 3rd brake light?

Thanks.

if you got the 99-00 the wholes will match up they will just need to be rounded a little more and it does fit over the exsisting light, its not a question lol thats what it has the led with the wing.....and make sure the use an adhesive and not the 3m tape I find it just pulls off after time........let me know how it turns out....

Thanks Sitn, when the wing was delivered I just took it down to the autobody shop after making sure the brakelight hardware was there. I guess I will have more info tomorrow.

Looks like he was talking about the stock brake light fitting into the spoiler. I had to remind him about the LED kit that came with it.
