Rear brake caliper install

Rear brake caliper install
Ok I have a sticky caliper that rubs. It has been doing it for a couple months now and I just kept changing the pads out as a quick fix. Well now it grinds. I tried to replace the caliper before but my friends and I had a hard time with the E Brake line. Anyone have any instructions that would help?

RE: Rear brake caliper install
let the ebrake down, this will put slack in the ebrake line, and towards the bottom of the caliper you should see a spiral and at the end of it is the ending of the ebrake line. DO NOT LOOSEN THE SPIRAL. It's a pain to get back on. follow the line down to the caliper, youshould see a small c-clip holding the line on, remove it with a flathead or pair of pliars, the caliper should then slide off. Don't forget to bleed your system when finished either

Sweet thanks. It was a real pita last time. It took us boneheads like 15 mins to try to find that c-clip thelast time we took it off lol. I will have to try it again. Thanks.
