hmmm... you could do that too... just cause yours is self contained... mine takes engine oil so im making sure nothing else goes in the blower that isnt suppose to... and i want to run synthetic only on the blower which i cant add till over 1k miles... maybe even 2k.

Ah.... yeah I wouldnt run the blower if it wasnt self-contained either. Would it matter if I took the car on a good 1-2 hour trip during the break-in period? Or should I still to small, short distances?

but hell have lower compression....i think 450. and unless its a blower cam i just dont think it will be that much. maybe on an absolutely aggressive tune but i just dont see it. up the psi and ooh yea...itll make the power

if it were me...id have the boost at like 16-18 with a built motor.
ORIGINAL: jpmustanggt

I think it'll be a little bit more than 440 probably like 475+
Your crazy. Centris love RPM, he can take it to 7K+ with that shortblock. on top of that, having (I assume) a blower specific cam AND ported heads, plus 12 PSI?

Hell, with n/a cams, no intercooler, stock heads, and the stock shortblock with its craptastic 6200 RPM redline I make 420 WHP... 480+ is definatly in reach.

BTW, he needs to stick around 12 PSI cause he has the PS1C procharger.. much more from that blower and it starts shredding belts etc.

i have never heard that before??? i had always heard that they were good for about 16-18 psi....maybe i heard wrong. i dunno. i honestly dont like giving advice about blowers that i dont know much about, so dont listen to me.

and im not sayin 480 isnt attainable with 12 psi...i just didnt think it was likely. either way, you have a built motor so you really have no worries. enjoy that beast

440 or 480, either way I'm going to be happy From what I've read, 16 psi should be safe with the blower. The block can def handle it now. Next are adjustable shocks/struts, then diff.

suspension is your friend. i just watched a vid of some guy in his GT with a V2 and like 412rwhp. he launched in 1st gear with hardly no wheelsping and his car took off like a freaking rocket. i spin like im on ice. what good is 450 or 480 if it goes up in smoke. definitely make some DRs and suspension mods your next things on the to do list.
