Default SNOW PERFORMANCE KIT

Has anyone tryed the snow performance water/methanol kit? If so, could you tell me a little about it. Also is it supposed to take the place of an intercooler? Thanks

I have not tried it. Yes it is to replace (or add to) your intercooler by lowering either intake air temp or cylinder temps, not sure which but I believe both. This allows you to run more timing which give your more power. I'm not an expert so hopefully someone can chime in on this one.

i have a friend with one on his 97 KBed cobra... it does definatly make the car quicker... boost juice goes through pretty quick though... almost worth it for the intercooled so you dont have to worry about the boost juice...

Dude i live in the same town as Snow. I have a whole bunch of buddies with Snow kits. 3 cobra's and a supercharged stage 2 roush. They swear by it. Im looking into it for my car (the stage 2 n/a kit) They said (that with a tune) I could get 20-30 hp out of it. We'll see if thats true of not but for $200 you cant go wrong

I have one and it's allowed me to run more timing! I have a S/C with the P/I head swap so my compression is about 10.5:1. No detonation at all. I plan to use it on the new shortblock!
