I know all about 4.6's having loud injectors, my tbirds injectors are pretty loud. Now on my stang that I just bought in april I've been hearing the famous ticking but it is really loud. So I used the stethoscope thing to pinpoint exactly where. I hear all the injectors but there is one that is much louder than the others. Is it normal to have one that is alot louder than the others? Its starting to really get on my nerves so maybe I could just replace that one? Any info would be nice. Thanks.

Mine arent loud at all. Can`t reallyeven hear them when the car is runnin.

Same, between my exhaust and my extremely ****ed up high idle (2,000 rpms) I can't hear 'em.

My 03 has this ticking sound. I thought it was an exhaust leak. Is that what the injector sounds like?

i know the DOHC engines have a natural tick to them,

Mine are loud as hell ,my local ford dealer told me its perfectly normal.
