JLT RAI = CEL??

JLT RAI = CEL??
yesterday i put on a JLT RAI that i got used from a member on here. Well i guess his car was older, so it had an IAC sensor. Mine doesn't have one, but the JLT already has the hole drilled for the sensor. So i simply ghetto rigged it, and cut a very short cork and used it to plug the hole so i could test it and see if it worked.
I drove the car up the road and back finewith noproblems. But today when i turned on my car, my CEL was on.
What could be the problem? should i disconnect my battery and see if that helps? or what? could the cork be causing the problem?
Thanks for the helpp

RE: JLT RAI = CEL??
well i guess it's because of the cork.
I took the car to autozone and got it scanned and it was the IAT sensor.
So i guess i'm going to swap the stock intake back on until i can find one. Anyone know a good place to get the sensor?

I was thinking about that, So i'm not sure now. When he scanned it, if it was running lean, wouldnt that have shown up?
I just swapped the stock intake back on, and the CEL went off. I want to try and find a IAC sensor to put on the jlt and see if that fixes the problem.
