ORIGINAL: hot wheels

if you want good tires you have to be willing to pay the price, my michilin sport pilots were $300 a piece. buying them for years and never a complaint. goodyear and michilin - the only way to go!
I remember paying $390 for a set of 275/40ZR/17 Nittos 8 years ago for my 95 Z28! 95% of the guys on this site wouldn't be able to tell the difference between $100 and $300 Z rated rubber. On a Ferrari? Ok. A Lambo? Absolutely. A Mustang? Please....

To each his own,I suppose, but I'll take my $400 and spend it on something that won't get caked in a wheel well....

i work at a tire shop and im a tire tech,,those are very nice tires and i have the same ones on my ride...i got 275's all the way around..they cost me 180 $each installed. but that was at cost,,,so he dident get that bad of a deal..looks good!! mine dont rub up front but i have baer brakes all the way around and they rub on the braided brake lines,,,they do hook up well, but once you get into the 400whp range they seem to always spin..im looking to get 315/35/17's on the rear now...like a m/t street/strip radial...going to be sweet.

they look like 8" to me, judging from the overhang of the tire in the rear, but what do I know?

Here's a video of a friend of mine burning my old tires off. He isn't a good photographer so I let him do the brake torque. They were done after this! Check it out.

Nice tires, I was acutally going to order those probably tomorrow or Tuesday.. My current Sumi's are balder than a baby's *** that's been freshly waxed. I wanted 275s all around, or I might get 255s up front like you, but I have the stock 8" wheels.. I know it's been asked, but fora DD does anyone see a prob with a 275 out back?

Pretty good tires. One question, what type of grill is that you have on there?
