short of nitrous or forced induction, you need lots of hopes and dreams. i wouldnt get the Venom recluse kit, simply because it comes with such a small bottle (only about 10 ounces i believe). so you couldnt get much out of it before you had to refill it. as for injectors, i think the stockers should be fine, but im not totally sure (it might depend on if you get a wet kit or dry kit, nitrous isnt really my area of knowledge lol)
should get new plugs though (NGK TR6) and gap them differently i forget the exact figure, and get an accessory kit with a fuel safety shut off switch, bottle warmer, blow down tube, purge kit, and get a window switch as well.

Id say get urself a 75 or 100 shotof nitrous. You shouldnt have any problems beating a stock ls1 but if the ls1 is moded you might need a little more than nitrous, or a bigger shot if your car can take it.

Just bolt up a 75 shot of wet nitrous and you should be able to take them. But the thing is, once that bottle is gone, your gonna get toasted.
Off Topic, but why have there been so many threads lately about, "what mods are needed to take down an LS1"? Seriously, nitrous or F/I is the easiest way, but full bolt ons with some DR's and a few suspension mods might do the trick, or you could just add some cams and aftermarket heads along with DR's and that should do it. There are so many variables, hell you might run into 3 or 4 LS1's that are runnin 13.5's, but then the next 3 or 4 might be running 12.8's. If you dont wanna get beat than dont race an LS1 unless your fully prepared with some mods. Dont think I'm hating on the guys who have asked this question, but it has been asked alotlately and there are SOOO many variables.

I think you should do a 100 wet kit. You won't need to upgrade the fuel pump or injectors. Just bolt it on, change the plugs and get a nitrous tune. The 10 oz bottle is good to hide but you only get an extra tenth out of it so I would stay away from that. You'll get about 10 1/8th mile passes from a 10 lb bottle.

You simply cant drive for sh*t. Did you have an auto or manual? With an auto you should have been in the mid 12's and with a manual you should have been in the low 12's.

All of them want to say that LS1s are low 13/high 12s cars stock and go mid 12s with just exhaust... its bull****.
My buddies auto LS1 coupe went 13.60s @ 103 MPH bone stock (K&N and weld in muffler). He now has LTs, midpipe (Y) and a lid, plus the K&N.. I do not expect the car to go faster than low 13s... maybe a 13.0x. The 13.60s were with 0 humitity, 60 degree weather, and absolutly no tire spin... just wait till the light goes green and floor the car. With an auto there wasn't anything else he could do.
So far as beating one, all you really need is LTs, midpipe, catback, 4.10s, some drag radials, and maybe a set of control arms (depending on how your car launches). That should get em out of the hole every time and keep you close to even from a slow (SLOW) roll.

Edit: NEVER EVER EVER put anything on your car that has the name "venom" on it! Keep it on your DD civic !
