Default LT's Acting Up?

For some reason, when I step on the gas from a braked position, I hear this horrid clanking and rattling from either the BBK LT Headers or the BBK Midpipe that I just recently (as of friday) got installed. I have no clue, but it just sounds horrid. Is it trying to break itself in? Also, has someone else questioned the space left over from installing these headers? There is like a half inch between the headers and the heat shield maybe.

Headers don't "break-in", at least not in the way of making clanking and rattling sounds, most likely they are hitting something as the engine shifts in the motor mounts...

I got them installed on friday. And for some reason my new Spec Stage II clutch is making a vibrating sound as well, but when I lightly tap on the pedal it goes away.

I have like 7 problems with my car right now too. I recently got my LTs installed like a week ago also and the A/C line is sitting on my passanger side header causing the rubber wraping to melt and smoke. I also hear a tapping sound coming from the passanger side also that could either be an exhaust leak or a valve tap. I am going to take it back to the shop and have them re-tightened because a friend of mine said that it is a good idea to get the bolts re-tighened after about 200 miles or so. Also my SPEC Stage 1 clutch is fugging up big time too and it only has a little over 1,000 miles on it and I babied it for the first 400 miles it was on the car.

Yeah, I just got everything installed over the week and didn't get my car untill Friday and I've only been driving her for maybe 50miles so far. Now I just have to wait untill Monday to call em back. I think I'm probably gonna get a tune-up as well while I'm there.

So your clutch was just installed too? If so just brake it in easy and let it seat itself. Drive like a grandma. Go back to the place that installed the LTs and tell them about your problem if it persits. Then have have them re-tighten the bolts.
