Your not running a power adder, that's why a canned tune is ok for you.
As far as pricing, I would check with the dealer... normally either Diablo or the SCT costs around 379... a lot of shops will do buy the tuner and ill give you a tune... some of them make you buy it and pay for tunes... and some shops will do specials for example.... normally tuning costs 300 bucks, and the tuner is 379, but for $500.00 they'd give you the tuner and tune it for you.... just shop around - but take it to a REPUTABLE shop!!

just installed mine last night. running the canned tune and im very happy with it! big big difference from stock, and its 80 plus degrees here today. i iamgine when it cools off it wil be even better!

Ive heard that the sct has to be tuned by a shop and the user cant tweek anything unless he has the tuning software himself. That might make a difference for him, I know I like having the option of making small adjustments myself. Please tell me if Im mistaken.

what do you consider small adjustments? The SCT you can adjust things like revlimiter, govern., gear ratio, tire size things like that... those are small adjustments. Those you can do right on the unit.

Well i feel like an @$$, I just passed up an sct for like 75 dollars because I was told you couldnt make any adjustments on the unit itself.By adjustments I mean the check engine light turnoff, gear ratios, timing...
