impt ? about frame rails!! Chassis Stiffening experts?
Are anybody elses frame rails all bent up from jacking up their car? I know when i first got my car and was working under it i caused some of them. The shop that put my exhaust and wheels on seems like they fu(ked them up pretty bad. Why do these bend when you jack it up? Is it really bad and is there anything i can do to prevent/stiffen the chassis? I was thinking about stiffining the chassis and getting some jacking plates. Anybody?

subframe connectors will stiffen up the chasis. Heres a link to MM full length subframe connectors

get some good full length subframe connectors- they will significantly stiffen up the frame rails as well. I bent the actual rails all to hell in my old GT when i was in highschool because thats where I always used as a jack point...use the pinch welds by where the floorpan and sideskirts meet from now on- thats the designated jacking points for the mid section of the car. You can also use the center of the K member, as well as rear axle to jack on- just be careful.
