the 44's are a waste of money, its marketing a new product because people need the "latest and greatest" but the latter doesnt apply here. if u want a race muffler, run open headers or get the 10 series and be done with it

i just got of the phone with flowmaster, they say that the super 44's are more aggressive sounding ie deeper sound, unlike the super 40 with some tin sound to it. they say more flow and more sound inside the car.

for the same price as the other series, i would be going with super 44's

for the same price or cheaper.. go with the 10's they flow the best, weigh the least and are the loudest at wot... deep rumble at idle. but they are loud inside and out

Yeah it sounds good but its not that loud. I want to hear it more at idle. I was gonna put 3.5 inch tips on it and was wondering if that would help?
A chambered muffler will lope harder at idle than a straight thru.

Yeah I just got LTs and the drone from the Flowmasters has gone up. The car also sounds quieter at idle.

is there anything to do to reduce drone? I would switch to the super 44s if they droned less
