if i get the borla catback that'd be removing my cats? sorry newb here
No. Your cats are in your H pipe. A cat back system starts at the end of the H pipe and runs to the end of the car. If you get a different H pipe or X pipe then you'll be getting into your cats.

Keep in mind that removing your cats is against federal law. If you have to pass emissions you'll have a sore wallet & cornhole when your done trying to get her to pass the sniffer & visual inspection. It helps to have a friend willing to pass you.
Well there would be no sniffer test to pass since its OBDII. They would just plug into the comp to see if its running clean. MIL eliminators would take care of that but the visual inspection would be a different story.

Yes. Off the motor you have the manifolds. Bolted to those is the H pipe that includes the cats. Then the rest of the exhaust (cat back) is bolted to the H pipe and runs the rest of the length of the car.

Wrong, only SOME states use your OBDII for emissions. MA for instance uses the sniffer, on every car.

My review of Prochamber: More power than any H or X pipe (general opinion of most people - I have no proof), nice deep tone to the exhaust, but not as loud as a typical h or x pipe (personal experience)

Well I stand corrected. Only some counties in PA have emissions and thats how they check, by pluggin into OBDII. My county only has visual as of now. I thought they did away with the sniffer on OBDII cars.

Nah, because it's too easy to wipe out all the codes and get a couple hours of code-free operation to pass inspection. That's why MA still gets the sniffer.

Yea that makes sense but in my county if they bring emissions, thats all I'l have to do, just make sure there are no codes.
