Default Project car?

just a quick question. i was thinking about restoring a classic stang but i figured it would cost me too much to make it brake, and handle and perform like i wanted it to, so i figured that i would be better off finding a 99-04 v6 mustang for really cheap. and taking it all appart and putting in a new engine, tranny, rear end, suspension and brakes... etc.... my question is, is the V6 mustang body and frame the exact same one as the GT and Mach 1 etc etc...

By the time you do all these things you will have a LOT more $$$ in that than to buy a GT or Cobra. Also your time is worth something too.If you just want a project, look at one of the kit car packages.I think one uses a late model Mustang frame and you finish a body kit that fits the frame. There are ads for these kits in all the car mags.
