Default Something wrong with my exhaust? Leak? What?

I keep reading various posts about how people love their LM1's and all. Then I look at tons of videos of stangs with LM1's and O/R midpipes and they sound good inside and out. Am I missing something here? Is it just my car that has the completely annoying machine gun sound from around 1,800-2,000 rpms? I am now starting to think that there could possibly bea leak or something? Under medium acceleration it's BAD annoying, it sounds just like someone shaking a spray paint can with the little metal ball inside except it's of course deeper. Is this sound normal for LM1's and an O/R H?

just pay like 30 bucks (worth it) to have them put it on a lift, reseat your pipes and put lock-tight on everything

I'm sure I have a leak too. It sounds like its right under my driver’s seat. My H-pipe is a custom fab so it could be the weld. It starts at about 2,000 rpm's and gets louder and faster when I get on the gas.

I don't hear anything when the cars in park and idling or when I rev the motor when it's in park.
Does that go for everybody else?

If it is the H-pipe is it a big job to take off the h-pipe and put some more welds on it?

Thanks for your help

i have the sportline springs on my 01 and my pipes kept hitting the smallest bump and i guess made one of the bolts on the collector right before the h pipe come lose and fell off. so i took it to where i had my flows installed and they tucked my pipes up some and went through all the exhaust to check everything over for me for free. but yea that exhaust leak is the most annoying sound ever!

+1 even medium grade high temp works well. Lock washers or lock nuts alone won't do the trick.
