comes in handy when you are focused and dont look down. it probly saved me a couple of times from hitting the limiter. i have it set a couple hundre rpms before i want to shift to give me time. i have it timed pretty good now so when i see the light go on i know how long to wait then shift. super easy install to its just hard for people with small hands to get in the kick panel and fine those small wires. this is the raptor shift light btw. they have installation instructions on their site.
