People get on here EVERYDAY and wonder how much hp they can put out... How many of them actully do it????? Why get a Bigger Motor? Just Build your Bottom End,new Tranny, Suspension, SLap a S/c on there and your FINE, Putting a Bigger Motor (5.4, or w16 LOL) is just for Show....like the Vanquish mustang....

There are actually a few cars out there with the V10 truck motor in them. I have even seen a V10 truck motor in a 67 coupe.

there are people with 5.4l tritons in it, i've seen someone talk about dropping a turbo diesel engine out of a f350 into a stang.. dunno what that'd be like

a teskid or 96-98 cobra 4v motor wit a forged bottom end will take all the power u can dish out. drop that in and throw all the nitrous or boost u want at it

N/A 2V's don't make much power, just talk to Mitch. With everything possible you will only see about 330 to the wheels. With a forged 4.6 and a blower / turbo the HP is endless.

Yea I've been told and I have experienced (driven cars) cars at right about 500 rwhp. In 3rd on the highway, if you punch it, you will spin the tires. Anything 500+ begins to become too much for anyone, its too hard to get the power to the wheels for a DD or a weekend monster.







That's why I am aiming for 700+, just seems like too much fun [8D]

Yes...My goal is 500RWHP out of the stang ,,,,and a 10'second time slip....more drag oriented car....but very drivable....well ,to local crusie ins,,and to the track.... I'll also have a flip switch for the track and a street setting ....maybe 2 street settings....(1)mild,(2)wild ,(3)extreme.........I'm really diggin this F/I......and its potential......

I could be wrong but its gonna take a lot more HP than 500 for a 10 sec pass in the 1/4.
