The s197's are nice, but I'm not a fan of the looks. I drove one just for ****s and giggles. Huge difference from the V6 I had at the time, but it was too far in between the time I bought my new car to compare it to the new edge GT I have now.

I'd get one if I had a bunch of money to spend on body parts. They need a lot of body and appearance mods to look any good IMO, though. But the 99-04 stangs are still the sexiest, other than the classic late 60's.

I said the same thing before I bought mine but it does grow on you... The 3v pulls so much harder than a 2v, plus the cheap interior becameallright interior. There are pluses and minuses but the potential of the motor/cleaned up suspension got my vote. The 2 piece driveshaft can go to hell though..
BullittJim you thinkin bout buying one?
dont get me wrong 3v > 2v but ill wait till this gt is at the end of the road, before i swap it. its got alot of my sweat into it, not to mention 15k+ alot of sentimental value since my dad had it and passed away. probably keep it forever and just change engines every 200,000. i do like the low end on the s197 but my pulls harder than the shelby, so i cant really complain about my new edge
