Default Help With SCT Xcal

Well I recently bought an SCT Xcal2. After tuneing my car, it started making a strange noise if you rev it at idle, or get on it at 2k RPM or so. The noise comes from the TB/Plenum area. Maybe in the top of the intake manifold. Its like a quick chattering noise. Doesnt sound like a knock or anything, and it usualy only happens for a split second.I run 93 octance, and got the tuner tuned for 91 octane. Ive been emailing the place i got it from and they said it could be detonation at lower RPM, to take a little timing out. Well I took a couple of degrees out and it still makes the same sound. The car seems to rune fine but i cannot figure out the noise. Has anyone had any similar experiances? Could my A/F ratio be bad? Im pretty sure it isnt with the timing, ive adjusted it with no results. It isnt too bad on the daily tune, but on the mild and race tune its louder. Thanks for info

Try taking the tune off, see if it makes then noise and if it does then it's definetly not your tuner.

I have already done that. The sound goes away. I sent my list of mods when i ordered the tuner, so it should be tuned for what i got. i was figureing it mite be too agressive but taking a little timing out didnt help either
