MMR Shortblocks

Anybody have any comments on the MMR shortblocks? For being completely assembled and balanced it sounds like a good deal. Whats everyone think?

Yeah they're good stuff. I think Nanaki has the Mod 900.

They are very good motors....just watch out for their oil pumps...many people have had issues with them failing lately.

they have 2 models w/o forged rods or crankshafts but they do have forged pistons. is it a must to have forged rods and crankshaft if I plan on running nitrous, or will the forged pistons be enough?

You at least want the forged rods and pistons. Ididn't thinkthey made ashortblock with only forged pistons.

no all of their shortblocks have forged rods and pistons. Ur thinking of the mod 600 and mod 900. The 600 has a cst crank and the 900 has the forged crank. Other than that they are identical.
