Default Engine Dress up help

Hey guys, this is the first year i have registered her for Carlisle (June 1-3)...so the time is coming quickly. I am getting my manifold put on next week/redynotuned. Before the show I wanted to make the engine bay a little more stand outish if ya know what i mean. here is a current pic of her:

I was just looking to get some opinions that will help me make it look good: here is what i plan on doing

1) Polished altenator
2) Polished Fuse box cover
3) Polished EGR Valve
4) Canton Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank

Do you guys think this will dress it up without overdoing it? If you have any suggestions/feedback please chime in!! Thanks guys

looks pretty damn good the way it is, but i dont think that stuff will be over the top. Did you ever think about relocating your battery to the trunk? i did that on my 92 lx and it really cleaned up/opened up my engine bay

Ive thought about it before and am still considering it...i can imagine that it really gives the motor a clean look. I definately wont have time before the show to get to that but maybe sometime this summer I will look into it...But how do the other pieces I mentioned sound?

they sound like they would add more shine, wich in turn means that everyone will not focus on any minor imperfections under neath the hood (not saying that their are, just saying if there are) i dont know if you could do this with the s/c but maybe get like a coolent hose kit from ford, you know the baby blue hoses (not sure if they make that for 97, cause i have been in the fox body section for a while and just made the switch to modular) the coolent tank thing will definatly look bad A$$, um and maybe re rout some wires to clean it up if you have a little time, (it sucks but it cleans it up)

That is one clean motor! I think everything you listed would look great on there.

tape off around your altenator, and paint it a flat or semi gloss black. get rid of the oxidation
