Default How to make cams louder at idle?

I just got my car back last night from Mike Ward Racing. I got comp stage II cams + springs + adjustable cam gears installed. It sounds great but isnt as loud as I want it to be at idle. I need some suggestions on getting the sound of my cams out of my exhaust. My current setup is BBK LT headers, BBK H-pipe (o/r), flowmaster cat-back (40 series). Here are some things I was thinking about,

-3.5 tips
-super 44's
-x-pipe
-new cat back

I really dont want the x-pipe because bbk's rattle and I hate the raspyness of it. They are louder though and thats kinda what I am looking at. I want your opinions and I will have a video soon and pics.

dump the flows, flows muffle the sound of cams cause they try to make their own sand.. just try a straight through exhaust with cats and nothing else, but it will be loud

Without going to straight pipes or cutouts, both of which sound like *** IMO [:'(], theres not really anything you can do to make it that much louder.

SLP loudomouth 1 mabey. The X will help a little but not much.

ya i agree they dont sound great, but he wants it louder, and that will get it louder for sure, and you can turn it off when you get annoyed

heh you're one hard guy to please, if your looking for loud go get yourself a straight through muffler, magnaflows/slp make good ones, you can get lmI's II's and even powerflows in the slp setup. A dumped lmI will be ear shattering if paired with lt's cams and an o/r x. If not go with a LMII, it's quieter at idle but sounds just as mean on takeoff.

to me flow's sound great from the outside but like *** from the inside, so I'm always against flow, but that's just my opinion.

Good luck with finding your ideal setup.

Higher Idle=Less Lope

I've always been told a chambered muffler will lope better than a straight thru.
