Default remove fender

Hello,

Following an accident I need to remove the driver's side fender, beat out the dents with a hammer, and then replace it (I don't mind if it doesn't look pretty!). How do I remove the fender? When I open the hood I can see three bolts securing it to the rest of the bodywork, is there anything else I need to unscrew?

Thanks,

Richard

Default RE: remove fender

1.) Remove the inner Fender
2.) Remove the bracket that holds the bumper and fender together (You will need a new one)
3.) Remove bolts along the door jam
4.) Remove bolts along the top of the fender
5.) Remove Fender

If the dents arent too bad get some Dry ice and cool the area you would like to come back. The metal will retract a little. You will have to do this many times, but if the damage is too great then its hopeless with the Dry ice. The Dry Ice technique is mainly for removing dents and dings.

http://www.amazon.com/Haynes-Ford-Mu...010&sr=8-2

so I can see diagrams?

Thanks,
