My car has them too, it came from Canada so I guess thats why. I never disconected mine but I'm sure there is a way. Hope you find out.

What's wrong with them is that the owner doesn't wnat them on, and Goverment (at least not ours) has no Constitutional authority (none, zip, nada, zilch) to tell him he has to have them on...

pull out fuse number 30 under the dash..its for the DRL module. that will keep them off.
