advantages of SCT

what are the advantages of a tuner? can i turn off my annoying ****in service engine soon light whenever it comes on? and what other things can i do

Yes, you can turn the CEL off. SCT is just a better tuner, I've had both. I think diablo is more user friendly but SCT is better all around!

Yes you can turn off the CEL light, but if it comes on doesnt that mean its about time to get the car checked out?

The #1 improvement the SCT made for my car was the firmed shift points. I really think that it helped bridge the performance gap between my auto and 5 speeds.

Even without correcting for my gears and o/r pipe, I would have got the tuner if I'd have known the difference. With that being said, I got my gears and the tuner at the same time, so I don't know how much power the tuner gave me.
