Default What springs?

I'm not sure what springs to go with. I wanna lower the car about an inch, to get rid of the 4x4 look. Should I go with Ford Racing springs? I heard something about 4 cylinder Fox body springs working well on 99-04 GT's, though. Any opinions?

the4cyl fox springsare more for a drag setup, they slightly lower the car. people use them up front with asofter spring outback for better weight transfer during alaunch.

i have 1.5in H&R lowering springs sitting in my room, im afraid mycats will drag everywhere tho.

Well I'd like to find something that'll lower it around an inch, give or take 1/4 of an inch. 1.5 is too much. I too am paranoid of the exhaust drag.

c-springs would be your best bet, they lower it 1-1.3in i think.

I think I got a fairly good drop with mine, and I have not seen any loss of street driving or handling with em.

You don't want a stiffer spring in the back, you want the back to squat while the front rises on launch. From what I have seen so far the roush rears are a perfect compliment to the fox fronts. I have not been back to the track with the roushes installed but with street launches it feels better.

I'm lowered 2" with Sportlines and have the same exaust plus SLP LT's and I only drag the cats on tall speed bumps but I have learned how to avoid such hazards.

I have the steeda progrssive's and i don't have a rubbing problem and my driveway is really steep. It only dropped it like 1.5" really its just enough to look alot better. My only problem was i had to buy a low profile hydaulic jack for those good 'ol oil changes lol

ROFL that was one thing I didn't think about. I got the rear springs in and lowered the jack down... and it was stuck under the car.

Now I just drive it up onto a couple 2x4s if I need to work on it
