Well today when I got in my car to go to school the service engine light was on. As soon as I got out of driveway and into a higher gear, the overdrive light started to pulse on and off. My tranny was shifting kinda weird the whole day also so im guessing it has something to do with that. Anyone ever have this happen to them? Also, can I go to a car parts store and have them run a test to see what codes im getting?

I have had that happen to my explorer several times, it missed a shift somewhere and set the code off. Check the codes and reset it, it should be ok after that, if not it needs to be addressed.
