if you dont like it couldnt you always just use some thinner, take it off and clear your stockers to get rid of the scratches?
thinner and plastic dont mix too well.

Awesome thanks man. I was reading that people wet sanded with 600 and than went over it with 2000 for polishing purposes.
I used walmart clearcoat from the automotive section and then wet sanded with 2000grit. It's now smoother than my factory paint. You will need to use polishing compound after that as well.

Be sure to use an acrylic based and not laquer based though

I didnt have any luck in the automotive section so I bought some clear coat from KILZ at walmart. Will that be okay? If not I can take it back.
Also FURINOX: how many coats of the tint did you use??? That looks near perfect man

Hahaha I just told my dad about the idea. He's like "prove to me that it's legal first".

just a suggestion i always make: i would tape off the reverse lights so they don't get any darker. it gives the tailights a little contrast and more definition instead of being 3 black lines. also makes them not as noticably darker. you're going to do the 3rd brakelight and sidemarkers too right???

I wouldn't use uncatalyzed rattle can paint on things I care about if I were you guys. All you have to do is get a gold scotch brite pad and scuff the light. Then mask off the areas you don't want black tint to get on then plastic prime the parts. Use bulldog or something like thatthen get a little urethane clear with a little bit of transparent black toner mixed in and spray. Then color-sand and buff all the orange-peel out. Most paint shops will smoke things out for little to nothing.Should last longer then the car.

I used 3 very light coats of vht then 1 light coat of clear followed by 2-3 heavy coats of clear(just make sure not TOO heavy so you dont get runs)
