RE: Walmart tint
I have 2% on my stang and its super dark.. I would go with 5 if you dont want to be seen....I have 15% on my Chevy Z71 and its not very dark at all... Both pro done.. wouldnt do it any other way, life time warranty and its alot better job that you would every be able to do if you havent done it before...

RE: Walmart tint
I did the Wal Mart tint back in the day on another car. PITA!! I couldn't cut properly around the defroster connections in the back window and the bubbles started to show. For the stang I went with the darkest thing they had. It cost me $350 bucks and they did all windows and put a fat strip on the windshield. It's encompassing. Check out my sig. It's with the top down on a sunny day.

RE: Walmart tint
Actually i have walmart tint on my car i forget what % i tihnk its 25 or 20%....35 was too light so i went with the next darkest they had....
it was actually my first time doing it....i screwed up one roll i cut too short....but i didnt it the cheap way and didnt take my door panels off so some of the corners rolled up but its been on there since last august/september and its still on pretty good....few bubbles....had to have a helper tho but other than that its not too bad...just gotta have alot of patience and a second set of hands and you can save yourself a few hundred bucks....
if i can do it anyone can...cuz i have no patience haha

RE: Walmart tint
I do my own every car I get... The walmart tint is actually pretty good. The only window I had done on my new car is the back b/c you can't buy tint wide enough from walmart. It takes ALOT of practice and if you want it right you will probably waste more money in tint than it would cost to get it professionally done.
