Anyone ever try that do it yourself tint from walmart or a parts store? If so, how did it turn out.

I would just get it done right the first time. That stuff seems like it would be too easy to screw up and probably won't last.

we did it once to my buds ranger and it didnt go well. it kept ripping and we just said screw it and got a prof. to do it. and for a car with a big back windshield the rolls are too small for it and it will look like a Aquraium with the bubbles

actually i tried those tints on my old V6 .. was pretty good, need some time to get it perfect, but once you do they are great and they lasted for a year (which is the time i had the car). i just put some new tint on my '01 GT 3 hours ago. looks great, but a word of advice go with Gila film, you can get it from advance auto parts and their kit is good. saving lot's of $$ .. and planing to tint the rear window tomorrow

if you decide to go with it tell me how it goes

I considered doing the wal mart tint until i bought it and realized that it was way to hard to put on. I am just going to get the whole car done they said 90 bucks for the whole thing which sounds like a good deal to me.
