I feel like my car is running hotter than it should be. When warmed up where is the engine temp gauge for you guys? Mine is just a hair under the half of the normal range, basically the needle is straight up and down. Most cars I have been in only heat up to about a 1/4 of the normal range.

I think a hair to the left of the middle is normal if you have a stock thermostat. Mine's stock and that's what it's always read and I've had no problems.

Meh, the stock temp gauge really sucks. Try to get yourself a cheap from ( i got mine from wal-mart) with actual numbers. That way, you won't be guess. However, with mine...it runs between 180 and 190 F..200 F sometimes with A/C on, south texas hot day and city traffic. On the stang gauge that was around M and A of NORMAL. Still, get yourself a gauge with markings..that would surely help you a lot and its not hard to install.

mine usually runs at 180-190 hotess I seen it get....the stock gauges aren't that useful in my opinion but it read alittle below the mid of the c/h mark.

im F/I and i max out at 210 city driving in las vegas in august (120 degrees outside) youre fine when i was stock it never went above the middle mark.

Just do the trip button dash trick where you get digital read outs of all your vitals, dont waste your money on a gauge when your car already has you covered.
